Samaraya is destined to be the first integrated hotel and villa development in the state of Goa. Located on a gently sloping site overlooking Goa’s capital, Panjim city, and the Mandovi River, the master plan is designed to enable all villas and hotel rooms to take advantage of the panoramic views that make this a signature location.

The design of each villa fuses influences from the rich Goan Portuguese heritage with a contemporary design language and the needs of a resort home and a resort lifestyle. Each villa is fully fitted out to evoke a relaxed holiday home. The various villa designs offer engaging reinterpretations of courtyard typology and of the Goan tropical vernacular. The hillside is reforested and designed to be environmentally sensitive by minimising excessive cut-and-fill of the land and also avoiding soil erosion by ensuring adequate planting on all surfaces.
