Integrating contemporary Western furniture and accessories with a collection of Pan-Asian art and artifacts, the Peirce Hill House was designed for an international family of Indian origin that has lived in the USA and in Asia.
The interior design called for an eclectic composition of multicultural elements. Combining elements from India, Cambodia, Japan and Vietnam with contemporary Italian and French furniture and lighting was an opportunity to weave a bold sophisticated furniture concept with tactile and experiential accents.
The client, who formerly lived in Japan and had a taste for the Japanese aesthetic, requested an overall soothing colour palette with a touch of nature. Balancing the elegant silk curtains, the brocade of the bedcover and woven silk accessories, the master bedroom is a restful and luxurious hide-away. The children’s bedrooms were conceptualised by the client’s children of different ages.
Peirce Hill House是专门为一个曾在美国和亚洲居住的印度裔家庭而设计的，融合了当代西方家具配饰和泛亚洲的艺术和文物收藏品，以配合住户的国际化背景。
